In a groundbreaking move for the Minnesota Myth, we are thrilled to welcome Coach Jeff Loots as our Defensive Coordinator. Boasting an illustrious career spanning over 26 years in college and high school coaching, Jeff brings a wealth of experience to our Myth family.

Jeff's journey began at SMSU, where his prowess as a quarterback earned him a remarkable three-year All-American title. His collegiate career highlights include an outstanding 22-5 record as a starting quarterback and consecutive NSIC Conference MVP honors in 1990 and 1992. Even today, Jeff holds an impressive tally of over 14 School, Conference, and National Passing Records, solidifying his legacy in the realm of college football.

Transitioning from college stardom to the professional arena, Jeff spent a remarkable 11 years playing in both the CFL and AFL. A true force on the field, he secured championships with two AFL teams, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication to the sport.

Notably, Jeff's journey intertwines with that of Head Coach Rickey Foggie, as they were teammates on the original MN AFL Team, the Minnesota Pike. This shared history adds a unique dimension to the Myth's coaching synergy.
